XMPP protocol needs <strong class="search-excerpt">SSL</strong> encryption.So you need to install the perl modules for it.So before trying&#160;...&#160; make sure u have the following modules:

	 IO ::Socket ::<strong class="search-excerpt">SSL</strong> (&#62;=0.81)
	 XML ::Stream
	 Net ::XMPP
	 Authen ::SASL
