Google has come up with new feature in Gmail called Google Buzz. I saw a few of the privacy concerns on the initial week it came itself and it was said all this concerns have been fixed by the weekend itself. So I was trying it out and how it works when I noticed a bug in the way it works.
Buzz allows you to edit your post after posting (even after someone comments on it) unlike twitter. So what happens is I post something and people comments on it and then i can change my post so the comments would mean something else. I knew there was a possibility of creating this but wasn’t sure if it would work entirely. So Sarath and me tried it out today.
So we posted a weird question and waited for someone to come and comment on it. And this is what we got:
![]()
And then we changed the initial post and we end up like this:
![]()
So this meant changing the meaning of all the comments below it. Well this is why I guess twitter never allows to edit posts. May be Google should also not allow this. Anyways I feel this is a Bug which should be fixed.
PS: Sorry Abhay and Gayathri this was just trying out an idea.
